Well well I have finally caved in and started a blog! I have little time to sit and journal and quite frankly I get distracted too easily, leaving me with half-written journal entries. I follow a few friends' blogs, and realized that I can put in entries too. I find that I start to forget some of the amazing things I experience in life, the feelings I felt, and the incredible people I was with. Just like looking at old photographs, it erupts those feelings making them real again. I also need to dust off my camera!!

So here it goes .. it's catch-up time!
I think I'll start with when I moved to Utah...
August 2006 - June 2010
I decided to move to Utah after being at home. The summer of 2006 I was in Maine, and it was the most care-free and greatest summers I have ever had. My Mom was feeling better, and I spent it with my great friend, Tim! We spent many days fishing all night, camping, going to the races in Oxford, 4-wheeling, mudding, hiking, walking, painting ourselves with fireflies, .. I could go on, you get the picture. Tim is and always will be one of my favorite people! It was a sad sad goodbye... but I must continue traveling!

The trek to Utah was so fun. My friend Joan - we've been great friends since we were 5 - drove out with me. She flew up from Daytona, met me in Maine, and we were off! We drove straight for 42 hours, stopping only for gas, and arrived in Las Vegas at 2am. We lost our reservation at the Luxor, only to be told we were upgraded to a King Suite! We hurried up to the room, and hooollllyyyy crap this place was INSANE! We cleaned up and headed out to explore! Long story short, we crawled up to our room at 10am and woke up at 5pm. We were supposed to be out by 1. oops. A bit hungover, we continued the drive to Napa, my old stomping grounds. We stayed in Nice, where my lovely friend and old co-worker from Calistoga Water Company Bryan offered for us to stay at his house. After 2 days of wakeboarding and hanging out with old friends, it was time to move on.
to be continued i just realized I have to get to work
